Ms. Enas Mohammed Al-Majid, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development at the Ministry of Social Development, stated that 20 productive families registered under the ministry's umbrella within the "Khatwa" project for home projects, participated in the Bahraini Farmers' Market within its tenth season, which is organized by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture in the Budaiya Botanical Garden. Al-Majed confirmed that the Ministry of Social Development is constantly working on developing programs aimed at Bahraini productive families’ projects, to ensure their development and sustainability, as well as presenting many qualitative initiatives in cooperation with the relevant authorities, with the aim of supporting the products of productive families and creating a marketing environment that contributes to increasing their economic income, by strengthening community partnerships with government, private and private sectors to promote their products. His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Family House for Microfinance, chaired the fourth meeting of the Bank's Board of Directors for the year 2022, in the presence of the Bank's Vice Chairman, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, and the Bank's CEO, Dr. Khaled Ateeq, and a number of members of the Board of Directors.
