Manama, Oct. 24 (BNA): The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, affirmed that the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, which are witnessing development and progress, are based on firm constants, common aspirations, and fraternal and strategic ties, and enjoy support and backing from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain, and his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman. This came after the signing of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, on a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Social Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Social Development in the Sultanate of Oman in the areas of social development, on the sidelines of the official visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Minister of Social Development stated that this memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the fields of exchanging various experiences and best practices in the field of social development, expressing pride in the effective and valuable partnerships and prosperity witnessed by the two brotherly countries in all fields and at various levels.
