President of the Supreme Council of Health inaugurates the new headquarters of Alia Rehabilitation Center

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, inaugurated the Alia Center for Rehabilitation in its new headquarters in Aali, affiliated to the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Difficulties, which was established under the patronage of His Excellency. The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, Dr. Sheikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa, President of the Society, and a number of invitees. Many companies, institutions and personalities who contributed to supporting the construction of the Alia Rehabilitation Center project attended the opening. His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the attendees toured the center's facilities, and listened to an explanation from Dr. Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa about the departments in the center. The attendees praised the center's departments, which match the latest developments in the field of autism. The attendees welcomed the idea of the Alia Center for Youth, which opened the door for a new group of young people of determination to have a field for learning and rehabilitation for the labor market.
