Al-Ansari discusses with the Minister of Social Development the next cooperation plan

Her Excellency Professor Hala Al-Ansari, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, received at the Council's headquarters in Riffa, His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development. During the meeting, a number of common issues related to family and societal stability were discussed, and upcoming paths of cooperation dealing with social care services and programs concerned with the economic empowerment of productive families and beneficiaries of social assistance. Al-Ansari praised the Ministry's efforts in providing the appropriate environment for the development of family counseling services. The two parties also agreed on the importance of activating the Equal Opportunities Committee in the Ministry to maintain the pace of work and the achievements of women in the work environment, and in terms of achieving the principle of equal opportunities for the services provided to them and the Bahraini family. For his part, Mr. Al-Asfoor affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Social Development to enhance cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women in order to achieve common developmental and sustainable goals in terms of continuing the progress of women and enhancing their pivotal and essential role in the national renaissance, in addition to consolidating family stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain, and the great endeavors of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the unlimited support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the great King of the country, President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, for Bahraini women, empowering them, and providing them with opportunities to achieve full participation in society
