The Minister of Social Development meets the Resident Coordinator of the activities of the United Nations in the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received in his office the Resident Coordinator of United Nations Activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Khalid Al-Maqoud. During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and the programs of the United Nations related to the Ministry, in addition to discussing developments in work between the two sides in the development and social fields. In this context, Minister Al-Asfoor affirmed the Ministry of Social Development's keenness to enhance aspects of cooperation with the United Nations in order to achieve common goals and interests, reviewing the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance development fields within the framework of the social protection and welfare system. For his part, the Resident Coordinator of United Nations Activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Social Development, stressing the support for the existing cooperation in the development fields, which contributes to achieving the development goals in their comprehensive concept.
