His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received in his office at the Ministry's headquarters today, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Piyush Shrivastav. During the meeting, Al-Asfoor affirmed the depth of the historical friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of India, stressing the continuation of enhancing opportunities for joint bilateral cooperation in development and social fields related to the tasks of the Ministry of Social Development, in light of the keenness of the two friendly countries to raise the level of cooperation horizons. For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of India praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development to upgrade the system of protection and social care, looking forward to continuing to strengthen the historical relations between the two friendly countries, which contributes to enhancing the exchange of experiences in development projects and initiatives.
