His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received this morning in his office the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his sincere congratulations to His Excellency Minister Al-Asfoor on the royal high trust of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his appointment as Minister of Social Development, wishing him continued success in serving the country. For his part, Al-Asfoor hailed the well-established historical brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reviewing a number of issues of common interest, expressing his aspiration towards more opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experiences in a way that supports the interests of the two brotherly countries and their peoples in the fields of development, care, protection and social rehabilitation. For his part, the Ambassador praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development to improve the social services provided to citizens in the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing keenness to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, in order to consolidate the distinguished fraternal and historical relations that unite them.
