The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Mr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Ishaq Al-Kooheji, announced the launch of children’s and youth clubs’ annual summer programs for this year 2022, over the coming months of July and August, in the Sharifa Al-Awadi Club for children and youth in Riffa, and the Muharraq and Sitra social centers, from During the participants’ attendance at the club’s headquarters or via visual communication technology, programs will be presented during the morning and evening periods from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm, with Sundays and Tuesdays allocated for girls and Mondays and Wednesdays for boys. The clubs offer 27 programs and workshops during the summer period, in line with the various desires of children and youth, which include several targeted programs and activities in the fields of technology, cooking, sports, arts, oases of faith, science, literature, robotics, and national heritage, with the aim of developing talents and skills. For children and young adults, satisfy their desires for love of learning and exploration, and provide them with the appropriate opportunity in an attempt to organize ways and means of investing time, as well as improving and developing their thinking and culture. On this occasion, Al-Kooheji affirmed the Ministry's keenness to provide a suitable environment for the development of the personality of children and young people, and to refine their literary and scientific talents throughout the year, especially during the school holidays season, by equipping clubs concerned with the best educational and entertainment means to develop the culture of Bahraini children and youth from the age of 7 to 18 years. years, stressing in this context that the programs that attract children make them gather around the clubs permanently, especially since the clubs accommodate a large number of participants throughout the year, embrace them and contribute to the development of their creative skills, and make their parents more reassured that they are in a knowledge station, indicating that the summer programs that Organized by clubs annually, this category receives a great turnout, as they take the initiative to attend and choose activities and programs according to their desires and interests.
