Social Development Minister meets Italian ambassador

Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, met with Andrea Catalano, Italian Ambassador to Bahrain. The minister highlighted the strong relations between Bahrain and Italy across various domains, emphasising Bahrain’s commitment to advancing these ties to serve mutual interests. Al Alawi briefed the ambassador on Bahrain’s key efforts to enhance social protection and care systems, as well as the ministry’s projects and initiatives aimed at achieving social security. The ambassador commended the progress and growth in relations between the two countries, noting Bahrain’s achievements in social protection and care. He also highlighted Italy's keenness to foster cooperation with Bahrain.
