“Housing” and “Social Development” provide temporary welfare for residents of a Al_Lawzi building that was exposed to a fire

Manama, May 12 / BNA / The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Social Development have begun a cooperation procedures to provide temporary welfare for families residing in one the buildings that was exposed to fire this evening in the Al-Lawzi area, until the concerned authorities finish conducting investigations in such cases, inventory the damage to the residential apartments and common areas of the building, and restore electricity to the building once again. H.E. Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, and H.H. Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, made an inspection visit to the temporary welfare headquarters that had been provided with the aim of checking on families and ensuring that all the necessary needs for their stay were available. During the visit, families were reassured about providing the necessary support to them until they return to their homes again after completing the necessary procedures and securing the building. It was also emphasized that all necessary process would be taken to address the effects of the fire in the damaged apartments and common areas of the residential building in accordance with the procedures followed in this regard.
