The Ministry’s signing approval of a memorandum of understanding with Abdul Rahim Al Kooheji Foundation

H.E Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, stressed the prominent role played by NGOs and their development contributions within the framework of community partnership to enhances the advancement of projects and plans within sustainable goals. In order of signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Social Development and Abdul Rahim Al Kooheji Foundation, in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Rahim Muhammad Al Kooheji, Chairman of Abdul Rahim Al Kooheji Foundation, and a number of ministry officials. The memorandum of understanding aims to strengthen community partnership between the government sectors and NGOs, by establishing community partnerships in the field of community service in order to invest and unify efforts to achieve the highest level of efficiency in providing services and launch community initiatives that contribute to empowerment and social development. For his part, Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Rahim Muhammad Al Kooheji, Chairman of the AbdulRahim AlKooheji Foundation, expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Social Development’s support for civil society organizations’ projects, stressing in this context that Abdul Rahim Al Kooheji Foundation continues to support all community initiatives with development goals to achieve social cooperation.
