The Minister of Social Development praises the initiatives of the Tree of Life Association to honor outstanding orphans

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society organized a celebration to honor the outstanding students in the orphan category for the sixth year in a row, with the participation of a number of members of the legislative authority, social figures, civil society organizations and parents of students, at the Sofitel Hotel. At the beginning of the ceremony, the Minister of Social Development praised, in his speech, the efforts of the Board of Directors of the Tree of Life Charitable Social Society, and its ongoing initiatives to organize a ceremony honoring outstanding achievers, pointing out that this celebration reflects positively on encouraging students and motivating them to continue excelling and rising to the levels of success in an effort to graduate generations capable of serving... society in the future. In this context, he also stressed the Ministry’s support for the programs and initiatives of civil society organizations, considering that volunteer and charitable work is the basis of the work of civil society institutions, and the backbone of effective community partnership that contributes, along with official institutions, to developing and advancing society at all levels and fields, pointing out the importance of achieving Excellence in volunteer work through evaluation and impact measurement. The honoring ceremony included various artistic performances, and a speech by the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, as well as to the students, in addition to honoring the outstanding and distinguished students.
