The Minister of Social Development praises the initiatives and contributions that consolidate the process of social work in the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is full of competencies that contribute to the advancement of social work by adopting initiatives and contributions that consolidate the process of development work in the Kingdom of Bahrain and push it to broader levels of competitiveness and sustainability. This came during the honoring of pioneering figures and projects in the field of civil social work at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. This is within the framework of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman’s hosting and chairing of the nineteenth meetings of the Committee of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Civil Service and Labor and the ninth meetings of the Committee of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Social Affairs and Development of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The Minister of Social Development appreciated the honoring of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Bahrain, in the category of pioneering figures in social work, and that Her Highness received the well-deserved medal as a result of her outstanding contributions towards enhancing the process of social work, through the implementation of many pioneering and development programs. Injaz Bahrain’s contribution to strengthening the principles of community partnership aimed at inspiring Bahraini youth and preparing them for success in the global economy. Al-Asfoor also congratulated the Drug Recovery Society and the Aluminum Bahrain Company “Alba” for honoring them in the category of pioneering projects in the field of social work, praising their development efforts to serve various segments of society through their programs and initiatives that reflect the values of charitable and social work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting in this context that the ceremony The honor is an opportunity to highlight the Bahraini experience in the field of development and welfare programs in order to effectively contribute to sustainable development plans. He said that this honor is a tribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and an achievement that is added to the series of the Kingdom’s achievements in the fields of social development, pointing out that the level of integration between the various governmental, private and civil sectors constitutes the cornerstone of the development of society and serving all its various categories and segments. He stressed that the Ministers of Social Affairs and Development of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are keen to implement the directives of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, may God protect and protect them, aiming to unify development efforts and provide all forms of support in order to achieve sustainable development, stressing that this honoring of Bahraini institutions comes as appreciation from countries.
