In this context, Minister Al-Asfour praised the level of progress and development reached by civil society organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain in their development programs, and their constant pursuit of excellence in serving Bahraini society, and promoting the values of cooperation and advancing humanitarian and charitable work, stressing the Ministry’s continued efforts to develop these areas of work. Charity, by updating national legislation and organizing the work of organizations to carry out their social and humanitarian duty to the fullest extent. He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain has always been known for its support for noble charitable and humanitarian work, which is clearly evident through the support of the Ministry of Social Development and its keenness to organize this work, out of its belief that these civil institutions constitute an economic and social force in partnership with the public and private sectors, and that this force has an effective role in Addressing social problems in general is an essential part of civil society institutions whose role is increasing as a result of the acceleration of social and economic transformations in the world.
