On this occasion, the Minister of Social Development emphasized that the children's and youth clubs are one of the Ministry's initiatives in the field of childhood, in order to develop and protect the rights of the child, in a way that guarantees the creation of a society in which a decent and sustainable life prevails for this group, which forms the basis for the future generation, and then achieve active participation for them to be The arms of building the homeland. In this context, he also explained the importance of holding these summer programs because of their positive impact on the education of children and young adults, in a way that benefits them, and instills sound values in them, within a healthy and practical environment commensurate with the orientations of these two groups, and makes their parents more reassured that they are in a safe station. , especially with qualified national cadres to deal with them with all professionalism and sincerity, to contribute to the consolidation of constructive values and the development of their skills and talents according to their future aspirations. In the field of club programs and events, Minister Al-Asfour referred to the role of children's and youth clubs in activating cultural and recreational activities and programs aimed at exploiting their energies and refining their hobbies, with the aim of enhancing their creativity, in addition to the clubs' keenness to implement a variety of summer programs aimed at accommodating the largest possible number of participants. He praised the role of families in encouraging their children and involving them in these programs to discover their abilities, and to provide appropriate opportunities for them to organize ways and means of investing time, expressing his thanks and appreciation to those in charge and workers of the summer program for their efforts to make the activities of children's and youth clubs a success. On the other hand, the events and activities of the Sharifa Al-Awadi Children’s and Youth Club, and the children’s and youth clubs in the Ibn Khaldun and Sitra social centers, were distinguished by incorporating all age groups from the ages of 4 to 17 years, during the months of June, July and August, and more than 2,700 children and young people benefited from them. They joined nearly 140 development programs in the fields of social, educational, cultural and recreational activities, which aim to provide them with the skills they need to enhance their cognitive and scientific awareness, and to instill self-confidence through teamwork. These programs were implemented according to the principle of community partnership with 14 governmental and private sectors, to In addition to activating the energies of former club members from the youth category, by integrating them into the administrative and technical tasks of the clubs. The closing ceremony included honoring the members of the Oasis of Faith Club and the strategic partners of the club's programs and volunteers, and a visual presentation on summer programs and activities, in addition to an accompanying exhibition that contained the creativity and productions of children and youth in various programs.
