The Ministry of Social Development continues to provide summer programs for children and young adults

The Director of the Centers, Family and Childhood Development at the Ministry of Social Development, Ms. Hana Nasser, confirmed that the Ministry continues to provide many summer programs and workshops for children and young people during the month of August, in the Sharifa Al-Awadi Club for children and young adults and the Sitra and Ibn Khaldoun Social Center in the morning and evening periods, noting The opportunity to participate and register is available by visiting one of the social centers or visiting the Ministry's social networking sites. She explained that the clubs will present, during the month of August, (44) summer programs and (6) field visits to vital sectors, as part of the “Fun of Knowledge” program, pointing to the most prominent programs that will be presented by the Sharifa Al-Awadi Club for children and youth, including the program of the International Campaign to Monitor Asteroids, Martial Arts Game Basics, My Siege, My Gift Story, Elevator Mechanism, Plato Financial Education, Soap Making, Fan Mechanics. As for the Sitra Social Center, it will present play and learn programs, taekwondo, the young farmer, a training package for healthy lifestyles, wooden houses, digital painting, bodymoonite, and the play Mama Amna’s Tales. Among the most prominent programs in the Ibn Khaldun Social Center are the hair care program, ceramics, pouring colors, doll and stories, the basics of video design, recycling, and painting on canvas. In terms of field visits, children's and youth clubs within the "Fun of Knowledge" program will offer many visits, including a visit to the farmers' market, Chef Fajr Al-Mansoori's studio, the Examination and Standards Department at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and knowledge sources at the National Bank of Bahrain Center. She also indicated that the clubs contributed to the participation of children and young people to practice their hobbies and stimulate their creativity in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment, as these programs witnessed a great demand by different age groups, starting from the age of 7 to 18 years, during the month of July, noting in this context that The clubs continue to provide cultural, educational and creative activities and events, until December of this year.
