His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "House of the Ten Commandments", Mr. Ibrahim Daoud Nonoo, in the presence of a number of members of the Council. During the meeting, the objectives of the synagogue were reviewed, and the social and cultural activities and events it implements, in cooperation and coordination with the various relevant authorities, in addition to discussing a way to enhance joint cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development. For his part, Minister Al-Asfoor affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain attaches great importance to laying the foundations of social justice and spreading lofty human values, through respect for human rights and basic freedoms, pointing out in this context that Bahrain has a unique experience in consolidating religious freedoms, stressing the support of the Ministry of Social Development to civil society organizations that work to formulate qualitative goals of real value that contribute to enhancing security and societal stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
