The Minister of Social Development receives the Director General of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and Ministers of Social Affairs in the GCC countries

His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, received Dr. Amer bin Muhammad Al-Hajri, Director General of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in the field of social development. During the meeting, the Minister of Social Development praised the efforts of the Executive Office in enhancing cooperation between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the leaders of the GCC countries and the aspirations of its people, especially with regard to developing welfare and social protection systems for citizens, stressing the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Executive Office, in order to consolidate the complementary march of the Gulf Cooperation Council and achieve the aspirations of the citizens of the Council towards joint Gulf action in various issues. For his part, Al-Hajri affirmed the keenness of the Executive Office to promote the joint Gulf action, achieve more Gulf achievements, and develop the followed systems, as they constitute a fundamental pillar towards embodying common interests and desired goals.
