The Minister of Social Development sponsors the 18th annual Ramadan ceremony of the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees

Under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees, in cooperation with the Abdullah Bin Khaled Center for Parental Care, organized the eighteenth annual Ramadan gathering, in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Mr. Saeed Abbas Al-Sammak, members of the Board of Directors, members of the association, personalities and events gathered. At the outset of the ceremony, the Minister of Social Development praised, during his speech, the efforts of the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees, and its distinguished role in promoting voluntary and social work, through community partnership between the official and private sectors, in the interest of society, and in particular the category of retirees. He stressed the ministry's keenness to consolidate cooperation with the association and with all civil society institutions with the aim of finding civil organizations concerned with various social fields, capable of developing their programs and projects and working as partners in supporting national efforts. Also, during the ceremony, a number of retirees, the elderly, and institutions supporting the association's initiatives were honored, in addition to popular performances and entertainment events.
