The National Center for Supporting Non-Governmental Organizations, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, organized periodic meetings for civil society organizations supervised by the Ministry, in the field of laws and legislation related to these organizations, which aim to develop the capabilities of members of their boards of directors, and enable them to play their developmental and social role, according to the institutional system of the civil organization. The Ministry stressed the importance of the meetings, which come within the framework of strengthening and building the capacities of civil organizations, in order to ensure their effective contribution to social and economic development, and in a way that contributes to the transformation of civil society organizations into real energy that plays its expected role with distinguished efficiency and quality. She pointed out that these meetings will provide an opportunity for members of NGOs to develop their capabilities and skills on ways to gain a clear vision on the mechanisms of effective and rapid dealing with changes that may occur in their development plans and projects, in a way that guarantees them continuity and adaptation, especially since during these meetings challenges are discussed to develop institutional performance to be efficient and effective, as well as allowing the way to enhance administrative and technical efforts on the volunteer side, stressing in this context on supporting and strengthening the programs of civil organizations, highlighting their role and documenting the pioneering experiences that they achieve. It has undertaken in the field of developmental and social work, in a way that contributes to spreading and consolidating the culture of volunteer work, highlighting its role in comprehensive development, as well as strengthening the principle of community partnership with government, private and civil sectors, to support national social responsibility efforts. She also explained that these awareness meetings contributed to assessing and defining the methodologies of the civil sector, improving its performance, developing its capabilities and increasing its effectiveness, as it is a key partner in development in its comprehensive concept, in addition to finding a number of professional civil organizations in managing programs and projects, noting that the Ministry is keen to provide various means of support for this vital sector, which is represented in logistical support through the National Center for Supporting NGOs, which is the first of its kind in the region and one of the pioneering achievements of the Ministry in the field of partnership with the civil sector and civil society, and aims to enhance the performance of the work of civil organizations and build their capacities. This is in accordance with the legal controls regulating its developmental and social work.
