The Minister of Social Development meets the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Muharraq Charity Association

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Mr. Salah Muhammad Bu Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Muharraq Charitable Society, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors. Minister Al-Asfoor stressed the importance of strengthening efforts based on the principles of community partnership to advance development projects, and stimulate the work of civil organizations to implement pioneering and effective ideas in society, stressing the Ministry's support for all civil society institutions, in accordance with the provisions and legal procedures for civil organizations in Bahrain. During the meeting, the association's fields and services in development and social projects and activities were reviewed, and the most important initiatives and activities it implemented within the framework of community service were reviewed. For their part, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Muharraq Charitable Society praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Social Development to enhance its development services in the areas of social care, charitable and voluntary work, stressing at the same time the importance of community partnership to support development projects and their sustainability to serve all segments and groups of society.
