His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, stressed the importance of the role of Parliament in supporting legislation, proposals and initiatives to enhance and develop effective developmental and social fields in order to enhance care services for all segments of society, noting the government's keenness to meet the needs of citizens in these areas of development. This came when His Excellency the Minister received His Excellency Representative Basma Abdul Karim Mubarak. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics and issues related to strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, in order to achieve the desired goals in the developmental social fields. They also discussed projects and initiatives that meet the needs of the people of the eleventh constituency in the Northern Governorate in particular, and citizens in general. For her part, Representative Mubarak praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Social Development in areas related to the ministry's goals, noting the importance of strengthening cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, in order to ensure the provision of the best services to citizens.
