In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to disburse an additional month of financial support for low-income families (expensive allowance) to counter the effects of rising global prices, the Ministry of Social Development, in coordination with the concerned authorities, has taken the necessary measures to disburse the amounts to those who are eligible, and deposit them with the January 2023 payment. On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, confirmed that, based on the order of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Ministry, in coordination with the concerned authorities, immediately took all necessary measures to disburse an additional month of financial support for low-income families (expensive allowance), explaining that the basic payment will be deposited on time on January 15, 2023, in addition to the additional month's amount. Al-Asfour said that the Ministry of Social Development has taken all technical and administrative measures to implement the directive, to ensure that support reaches all beneficiaries through their bank accounts, in cooperation with all concerned authorities, explaining that those who are eligible for social security assistance will benefit from the order of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as they automatically receive financial support (expensive allowance), noting that the number of beneficiaries of financial support amounts to 130,078 thousand beneficiaries for the January 2023 batch.
