The Minister of Social Development praises the humanitarian and charitable initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, affirmed keenness to continue to consolidate the concepts of social responsibility, and apply best practices for giving and volunteering initiatives in a way that translates the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain, noting the interest of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in promoting the values of solidarity and consecration in society. This came on the occasion of holding the Good Word Association ceremony, under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, Honorary President of the Good Word Association, which was organized by the association on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its founding, in the presence of His Excellency Mrs. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, Secretary-General of the Royal Foundation for Charitable Works, Ms. Sahar Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Ms. Enas Al-Majid, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development, Mr. Hassan Buhazaa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, and Director General of the Arab Institute for Charity. Planning in the State of Kuwait, Dr. Badr Othman Malallah, and a number of relevant civil organizations, events and social personalities, at the Movenpick Hotel. The Minister of Social Development expressed his appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Honorary President of the Good Word Association, for his constant support and support for the charitable, social and developmental work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his keenness to support volunteering initiatives and the sustainability of civil work, which reflects His Highness' awareness and belief in the human and community sense and volunteer work, especially since this humanitarian work is considered a fundamental pillar towards the stability and cohesion of society. Minister Al-Asfoor indicated that the support and support of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for charitable, humanitarian and community work at the local and international levels has become a model and approach to be followed in the Kingdom of Bahrain, an incentive for Bahraini youth to continue giving, and a compass directed to the civil sector to take creativity and excellence as a basis and a guide to serve society in all its categories, which stems from the values, customs and traditions of our benevolent societies. Minister Al-Asfoor also praised the distinguished efforts of the Good Word Association and its community initiatives that reflect a high awareness of the concepts of community partnership and the responsibility entrusted to civil society institutions as a key partner in the comprehensive and sustainable development process. Social development is keen to provide all appropriate means and necessary support for the development of volunteer work and help it to play its role to the fullest.
