The Minister of Social Development praises the efforts of the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, stressed the importance of strengthening community partnership to achieve more qualitative achievements and gains that are in the interest of the country and the citizen, noting in this context the positive role played by civil society institutions to support government efforts to promote sustainable development programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This came when His Excellency the Minister of Social Development received, in his office, Dr. Saeed Abbas Al-Sammak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hikma Association for Retirees, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors. His Excellency the Minister of Social Development praised the efforts undertaken by the association to take care of the affairs of retirees, and its keenness to invest the experiences and skills of retirees for their efforts and giving to serve their community, praising the social initiatives launched by the association for its members and its endeavor to benefit from their qualitative experiences gained in various fields of life. For his part, Dr. Saeed Abbas Al-Sammak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees, praised the continuous cooperation that the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain attaches to civil society institutions, stressing the importance of continuing to strengthen efforts and their concerted efforts between the various institutions of society in order to achieve the desired aspirations and goals. During the meeting, the most prominent programs and activities of the association in the field of caring for the affairs of retirees were reviewed, and aspects of cooperation with government, private and civil institutions and agencies related to the objectives of the association, within the framework of implementing initiatives and programs that contribute to strengthening the status of retirees in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
