Under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Kingdom of Bahrain, and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, the Association (This is Bahrain) launched its annual festival on the occasion of the country's national holidays, which was held recently at the Bahrain National Stadium, with the participation of a number of embassies and representatives of foreign communities, clubs, schools and civil society institutions, as part of the association's rich participation annually in the Kingdom of Bahrain's national celebrations, and an expression of joy and delight in this The happy occasion, dear to the hearts of citizens and residents alike. On this occasion, the Minister of Social Development affirmed that the generous sponsorship of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain, for the "This is Bahrain" event comes as an expression of the paternal support and embrace of this human and civilizational diversity, which reflects the historical dimension considering that Bahrain is a country of peace and tolerance as the Kingdom of Bahrain was, and still is, a homeland for all. The concept of coexistence among all promotes a consistent approach stemming from His Majesty's keenness and belief that peaceful coexistence is one of the most important characteristics of the development of societies. Minister Al-Asfoor said that the foreign communities' celebrations of Bahrain's national holidays are a reflection of Bahrain's spirit of solidarity and tolerance among the various factions, as well as its human characteristics and responsibility towards everyone who lives on its land, especially since Bahrain is a multicultural society that is keen to support rapprochement and dialogue between different civilizations, religions and sects, within the framework of intellectual and cultural pluralism, religious, sectarian and intellectual diversity, and in light of peaceful coexistence with all foreign communities. He also praised the efforts of the foreign communities living on the land of Bahrain by highlighting the positive image of Bahrain, and what it reflects on the reality of life in it, which is dominated by peace and love. In this context, he expressed his appreciation for the great role played by the various foreign communities through their participation in the growth and renaissance of the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, pointing out that this celebration translated the sincere and great love of the communities for the Kingdom of Bahrain, its king, government and people. He stressed that the Ministry of Social Development is keen to provide all facilities and facilitate procedures for the various civil society institutions that fall under its umbrella and within the scope of the responsibilities and competencies entrusted to it, out of keenness to achieve integration in the social work system, by supporting community partnership between the various governmental, private and civil sectors to achieve sustainable development aspirations and goals.
