The Minister of Social Development meets the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue strengthening its position and consolidating it as a land of peace, love and fraternity, in a way that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This came during a meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Yousef Muhammad Bozboun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Ta’ayush), and a number of members of the association, where he affirmed the support of the Ministry of Social Development for civil society organizations that work to formulate qualitative goals of real value that contribute to enhancing security and societal stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the efforts of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions and its supportive role in strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s approach in spreading coexistence, values of tolerance, dialogue and mutual respect among peoples. During the meeting, Mr. Yousef Mohammed Bozboun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Coexistence), reviewed the most prominent initiatives of the Society since its establishment and its stages of development, as well as the future plans that the Society seeks to achieve in cooperation and coordination with various governmental, private and civil sectors, pointing out in this context that tolerance, coexistence and peace is a principle and a well-established approach in the Kingdom of Bahrain for many years, which makes it among the leading countries in the field of stability and social security.
