The Minister of Social Development receives the president and members of the Association of Motivators for People with Disabilities

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Motivational Society for People with Disabilities, Mr. Riyad Ahmed Al-Marzouq, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors. During the meeting, the most important goals of the association that it seeks to achieve by encouraging and motivating persons with disabilities to enroll in education and continue their educational path were reviewed, in addition to working to care for and support women with disabilities and help them find appropriate work and enable them to achieve themselves, in addition to discovering and developing sports talents for people with disabilities, in cooperation with the concerned sports, cultural and social clubs, and the challenges facing the association that prevent the achievement of its goals related to people of determination were discussed. For his part, the Minister praised the efforts of the Bahrain Motivators Association for People with Disabilities in the humanitarian and social fields to support and empower this category, stressing in this context the keenness of the Ministry of Social Development to overcome the obstacles that may face civil society organizations in general, and institutions of people with determination in particular, in a way that contributes to raising the level of development services provided to them, pointing to the importance of strengthening the principle of community partnership between the various governmental, private and civil sectors in order to implement the goals of sustainable development in its comprehensive concept.
