Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, the National Evangelical Church held a celebration entitled “Prayer for Peace in all Languages of the World”, in the presence of the Pastor of the National Evangelical Church, Rev. Hani Aziz, along with a number of clergymen from representatives of different religions, sects, and sects, and those interested. In a speech before the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Social Development affirmed that the organization of this event on a regular basis by the National Evangelical Church on the land of the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects what characterized Bahrain throughout its ancient history of tolerance and cultural and religious diversity for all religions and races that live on its soil with love and harmony, under the supreme care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country's great monarch, and the unlimited support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In this regard, Al-Asfoor pointed out that Bahrain is a homeland for all and constitutes a model to follow in consolidating social openness, freedom of thought, religion and belief, and supporting tolerance and dialogue between different civilizations, cultures, religions and sects, within the framework of intellectual and cultural pluralism and religious and sectarian diversity, so that they work together in a spirit of tolerance and harmony for the sake of good and peace for all, among a Bahraini people who are hospitable and loving to all their guests and those who live on their honorable land. For his part, Pastor of the National Evangelical Church, Rev. Hani Aziz, affirmed that the reality of religious freedoms experienced by Bahrain is positive by all standards, under the leadership of the country's great monarch, who supports dialogue between religions and civilizations, describing Bahrain's experience in coexistence and peace between religions as rich and pioneering, stressing the possibility of generalizing this successful experience at the level of countries in the region and the world. Rev. Hani Aziz said that the international goal of this forum is to send a message of peace from the land of peace, the Kingdom of Bahrain, to all countries of the world, pointing out that all sects enjoy full freedom in practicing their rituals and rituals in a safe environment on the land of Bahrain.
