The Minister of Social Development receives Reverend Hani Aziz and a number of priests

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Rev. Hani Aziz, servant of the National Evangelical Church in the Kingdom of Bahrain and head of the White Flags Association, accompanied by a number of priests representing Christian denominations residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain. At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Asfoor welcomed Rev. Hani Aziz, and his honorable companions, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm commitment to protecting freedom of religion and belief, adding that this is an authentic and historical approach of the Kingdom of Bahrain over the centuries, and was reinforced by the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrain. For his part, Rev. Hani and his accompanying priests affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a model of tolerance and coexistence between religions, praising the support received by churches and temples in the Kingdom, which provided the opportunity for adherents of different religions to live freely on the land of this honorable country.
