During a visit to Far AlAman & Dar AlKarama Social Care.. Minister Al-Asfour: Continuing to strengthen the integrated social protection system for various individuals and families in the Kingdom

His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, paid a field visit to Dar Al-Aman and Dar Al-Karama for Social Welfare affiliated to the Ministry, in order to see the progress of work in them, and to identify the needs and services provided by the two homes in order to strengthen the system of protection and social care for Bahraini individuals, families and residents. On this occasion, the Minister of Social Development affirmed the continued strengthening of the integrated social protection system for various individuals and families, citizens and residents, through specialized social institutions and temporary and alternative shelter centers, to achieve family stability and harmony, indicating that the Ministry seeks to provide many development services through community partnership programs with government and private sectors and civil society organizations. During his visit to Dar Al-Aman, which is run by the Bahraini Social Society, Al-Asfoor was briefed on the facilities of the home, and listened to a briefing on the role of the home in securing temporary shelter for individuals and families subjected to domestic violence, and for expatriate women, and the most important procedures related to this matter, in addition to the quality services provided by the home in the health, legal and social fields, as well as programs to support family harmony and rehabilitation. Al-Asfoor was also briefed on the services of Dar Al-Karama for Social Welfare, which is run by the Al-Hikma Association for retirees, and is concerned with providing protection and care for the targeted groups, during their stay in the home, by treating the problems that these individuals and families are exposed to, in addition to achieving social and psychological stability.
