His Excellency the Minister of Social Development, Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received this morning in his office, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Roddy Darmond. During the meeting, Al-Asfoor hailed the historical friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, and reviewed a number of issues of common interest, expressing his aspiration towards more opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experiences in a way that supports the interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples in the areas of development, care, protection and social rehabilitation. For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador affirmed his keenness to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries, in order to consolidate the distinguished historical relations of friendship and cooperation that unite them.
