The Minister of Social Development meets with the Head of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain (UNIDO)

H.E. Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received H.E. Dr. Hashem Hussein, Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, aspects of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and (UNIDO) in projects and programs supporting social development fields were reviewed, and ways to expand broader horizons towards achieving leadership in promoting sustainable development were discussed, stressing the importance of the strategic partnership with the organization in order to achieve national development goals. For his part, H.E. Dr. Hashim Hussein, Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain with (UNIDO), praising the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development to consolidate the partnership between the two sides in the field of social development.
