The Minister of Social Development receives the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Mr. Firas Gharaibeh, he United Nations Resident Coordinator Development Program in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in order to enhance ways of joint cooperation in development fields. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Social Development praised the existing cooperation between the Ministry and the United Nations Development Programme, looking forward to opening broader horizons towards exchanging and gaining experiences to achieve common goals. His Excellency also reviewed the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its efforts made in promoting protection and sustainable social care and implementing its strategic plans through a number of national projects and initiatives within the framework of effective community partnership with various sectors in order to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For his part, Mr. Firas Gharaibeh, he United Nations Resident Coordinator Development Program in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressed his appreciation for the efforts and interest of the Ministry of Social Development in enhancing joint cooperation, and its pioneering role in ensuring the protection of various societal groups.
