Mrs. Enas Mohammed Al Majed, Community Development Undersecretary Assistant at the Ministry of Social Development, announced the end of the participation period for the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for supporting Productive Families in its local (17) and Arab (8) versions, as (89) nominated projects were received. The honor of the award for its three categories, in preparation for announcing the winners, during a ceremony held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, the king;'s spouse and president of the Supreme Council for Women, at the end of this month of February at the International Exhibition and Convention Center. Appointing that the local productive family projects participated for the award reached (60) projects, while the GCC amounted to (23) projects from (8) countries, for the categories of Best Producer and Best Productive Family, in addition to (6) local and Arab entries being nominated for the Best Sponsor category. And supportive of productive families. She said that the arbitration committee, headed by Parliament member Mr.Ahmed Al-Salloum, representative of the Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Association, will begin its duties to review and evaluate the nomination applications received for the three award categories, to choose the best in accordance with the approved technical conditions and standards, as the committee takes into account that the product is designed and produced by the producing family.
