The Minister of Social Development meets the General Director of the Executive Office of the Council of Labour and Social Affairs Ministers of the GCC countries

النص المصدرHis Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, received Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Obaidli, Director-General of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, on the occasion of his appointment and recent assumption of his new job duties. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Social Development congratulated Al-Obaidli, wishing him success, noting the role of the Executive Office of the Council of Labor Ministers and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and its keenness to formulate a sustainable institutional strategy in order to advance joint Gulf action and achieve more achievements, as The technical arm of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council, by providing distinguished studies and research that serve the Gulf citizen in the field of development and social affairs. In this context, the Minister also stressed the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to advance joint Gulf action towards broader horizons, in addition to consolidating the gains achieved in the development fields to support the ongoing ongoing efforts in member states. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides were discussed, which would contribute to achieving more development goals through the exchange of distinguished experiences and best practices that best support the system of common Gulf interests. For his part, Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Obaidli, Director General of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, stressed the importance of continuing to advance the path of the Executive Office forward by working to develop joint Gulf action programs in order to advance the areas of protection and social care. At the level of the countries of the region, in implementation of the visions of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, may God protect them, and in response to the aspirations of citizens towards a comprehensive development renaissance that achieves the common interests of the people of the Gulf Council countries, praising the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in pushing cooperation paths towards more advanced levels in order to achieve sustainable Gulf development goals.
