H.E. Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, confirmed that the concepts of community partnership and the responsibility assigned to civil society institutions as a primary partner in the development process, especially those that are compatible with national strategies, have positive indicators towards achieving the desired goals, and in a way that ensures optimal investment of shared resources. And with high efficiency, indicating that the Ministry is keen to provide all appropriate means and support necessary to develop and enhance volunteer work in order to carry out its role to the fullest. This came when His Excellency the Minister of Social Development attended the ceremony organized by the Bahrain Volunteer Work Society on the occasion of International Volunteer Day, with the participation of Dr. Hassan Eid Bukhammas, Member of the House of Representatives and Honorary President of the Society, Dr. Yousef Ali Al-Kadhim, President of the Arab Union for Voluntary Work, and Dr. Randa Rizk, President of the Arab Council for Development.
