Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare organized a ceremony honoring outstanding students in its ninth edition 2023, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Sahar Rashid Al-Mannai, at the Princess Al-Jawhara Medical Center, with the participation of a number of public figures and representatives of Non-governmental and charitable associations and parents of students. On this occasion, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development praised the efforts of Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare and its permanent initiative to organize a ceremony honoring outstanding students from the orphan category, and sharing with them the joy of families over the excellence of their children, which represents a support for students to continue persevering and excelling in their educational career, stressing in this context that the honoring ceremony comes within the framework of The association seeks to enhance its national efforts in the social fields. She also indicated the Ministry’s keenness to sponsor the initiatives of civil society organizations, within the framework of supporting and upholding the values of social solidarity that all organizations take as an approach to their voluntary institutional work, stressing the Ministry’s continued support for all initiatives and projects of civil society organizations in a way that contributes to achieving their development mission in order to improve the services they provide. To the Bahraini community, thanks and appreciation are extended to the civil society institutions that are constantly working to provide their humanitarian and social services to provide means of support for various segments of society.
