The summer programs and activities offered by the Children and Youth Clubs of the Ministry of Social Development witnessed a remarkable turnout of participants during the first week since its launch, which is scheduled to continue until next August, through which several targeted activities are presented in a safe and fun educational and recreational environment, in a way that contributes to the development of the creative skills of Bahraini children and youth. In this context, the Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development, Ms. Enas Mohamed Al-Majed, conducted an inspection tour to see the progress of the summer programs plan aimed at raising cultural and cognitive awareness among children and young adults, and enhancing their artistic, sports, scientific and innovative talents, as well as developing their social skills and creative thinking, stressing the Ministry's keenness to organize programs on an ongoing basis, to be available to students during the summer vacation, and appropriate to their various desires and tendencies, noting that the Ministry is working to provide a healthy and safe environment for children and young people, by providing programs and activities that contribute to their overall growth and enhance their skills and creativity. The Ministry of Social Development called on Bahraini families to involve their children in these targeted programs and activities, which can be found on the Ministry's social media sites, which include a variety of craft, cultural and recreational activities, including drawing, coloring, handicrafts, theatrical performances, artistic and sports workshops, creativity and innovation programmes, as well as field visits to vital sectors within the "Fun of Knowledge" program, such as museums, farms and scientific exhibitions, as well as visits to vocational training sectors, as well as organizing meetings with a number of specialists in these sectors with the aim of motivating participants to Exploration, broadening their horizons, raising awareness of the importance of work, defining their future goals, and many other programs in the fields of technology, arts, sports, and science.
