The Minister of Social Development praises the initiatives of the Autistic Humanitarian Association

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Autistic Society, received Mr. Zakaria Al-Sayed Issa, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors. During the meeting, the President of the Autistic Association briefed the Minister of Social Development on the most prominent programs and activities of the voluntary and humanitarian association that it implements to serve people with autism spectrum disorder, and to meet their needs and their parents, in addition to discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, in order to enable the association to achieve its institutional goals and enhance its role and position in the community. On this occasion, Minister Al-Asfoor praised the efforts of the Bahraini Autistic Association and their continuous support for the national efforts aimed at serving people with autism spectrum disorder and their families, noting at the same time the role of the association in launching qualitative initiatives for the targeted groups, and stressing the Ministry of Social Development's continuous keenness to support and assist all civil society institutions, to achieve their voluntary and development goals, as well as overcoming the obstacles that may face civil organizations in performing their humanitarian mission and their social role, according to the laws and regulations in force in this field.
