The Minister of Social Development receives the Sri Lankan ambassador to Bahrain

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, met in his office at the Ministry with Mrs. Rethisri Wigertney Mendis, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, they reviewed a number of issues of common interest, ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides in the field of protection and social care, praising the level of distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the development it is witnessing in all fields. For her part, Rethesree Wigertney Mendes praised the level of cooperation with the Kingdom at various levels, stressing her country's interest in strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship with the Kingdom of Bahrain for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
