The Department of Centers, Family and Childhood Development at the Ministry of Social Development organized a number of open meetings with citizens from the region, aiming at introducing them to the ministry's services that it provides to various segments of society through social centres, including economic empowerment projects for individuals and families, developmental programs for children and young adults, as well as reviewing the needs and proposals of the people of the region in a way that contributes to strengthening developmental and social services provided to the community. In this context, Ms. Hana Nasser, Director of the Centers, Family and Childhood Development, confirmed that the initiative to organize direct meetings with citizens is being followed up by His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, pointing to the importance of these meetings with the people of the region and seizing the opportunity for them to visit social centers, whether to join the programs and events organized by the centers or to attend to inquire about the ministry's services, which contribute to improving the level of services provided to citizens, and in a way that serves the public interest. She also explained that a meeting with the people of the region has begun in both the Jidhafs and Riffa Social Centers, and other meetings are being organized with the people of the regions in the various social centers that implement its programs in the evening, until the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, pointing out that during the meetings, the most prominent projects of the Ministry that it implements for individuals and families through economic empowerment programs were reviewed, and mechanisms for enrollment in a step program for home projects were discussed, in addition to programs related to the childhood and youth categories and the activities of educational social centers, in addition to the efforts of the Ministry in implementing development programs and time. provided by family counseling offices. For their part, the attendees praised the organization of the centers' management, family and childhood development, open meetings, and listening to their views on the developmental and social services provided by the Ministry, noting the implementation of a number of targeted activities and programs by the social centers during the holy month of Ramadan.
