Under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Kingdom of Bahrian; The "This is Bahrain" Association held the Ramadan Ghabga, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Osama Sheikh Ahmed Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, and a number of diplomats and officials from various communities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. On this occasion; The Minister of Social Development affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's continuation to strengthen the bonds of interdependence between the various components of society, reflecting the high level of the Bahraini model of peaceful coexistence, which today has become an example to follow, and is devoted to illuminating efforts that have been praised by the international community in many forums. Minister Al-Asfour added; The Kingdom of Bahrain has set an example of peaceful coexistence and harmony among all components of society throughout the ages and times. He affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue strengthening its position and consolidating it as a land of peace, love and brotherhood, in a way that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the comprehensive development march, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of Kingdom of Bahrain, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. from her side; Mrs. Betsy Mathewson, President of This Is Bahrain Association, referred to the need of peoples today to better understand each other, which opens wider horizons for understanding and acceptance of the other between other cultures and religions, referring in the same context to the document (Declaration of the Kingdom of Bahrain), which emphasized the vision of His Majesty the King by calling for the importance of combating ignorance in all its forms and the need to perpetuate a culture of dialogue between religions. Bishop Aldo Berardi spoke about the importance of peace in feeding human needs, and that peace is a firm demand because it allows for development and harmony, unites hearts and opens the future for humanity to live in peace. on his part; Imam Asim Hafez said that the world today is in dire need of spreading the concepts of peace and promoting the values of humanity, which is what all religions have called for, pointing to the need for everyone to unite to renounce darkness and ignorance so that the light of peace may come everywhere.
