The Minister of Development meets members of the boards of directors of charities in the village of Al-Bilad Al-Qadeem, Al-Zinj and Adhari

His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, affirmed that the Ministry is working to enhance cooperation with charities in accordance with the principles of community partnership, indicating that the Ministry seeks to stimulate the role of civil society organizations, to play their role as a basic partner in community development, by providing all means of support and assistance, to enable these civil organizations to perform their role, translate their goals and achieve their mission to the fullest. This came during his meeting with the chairmen and a number of members of the boards of directors of charities in the village of Bilad Al Qadeem, Zinj and Adhari, in his office. During the meeting, the most prominent programs and activities of charitable societies were reviewed, and the existing aspects of cooperation with various governmental and private institutions, in order to achieve their development and humanitarian aspirations. A number of initiatives undertaken by the charitable societies to improve the services provided by them to the various segments of Bahraini society were also discussed, in addition to working to raise the efficiency of their members so that they can play their role impartially and professionally.
