Under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, the Inma Center for Special Education organized a ceremony marking a decade since its founding, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies members of the House of Representatives, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, Mr. Abdul Rahman Jassim Al-Ghanim, and a number of heads and members of private and civil society associations, and community events. During the speech given by His Excellency the Minister of Social Development at the beginning of the ceremony, he praised the Center's efforts, which come out of keenness to support people with disabilities, and work to empower them, in addition to developing specialized care services for them, to develop their skills, and strive to integrate them into society, indicating that these efforts reflect the effective and distinguished partnership in support of government efforts provided to children with disabilities and their parents. Minister Al-Asfoor noted the continued promotion of social care for people with disabilities, stressing in this context the Ministry of Social Development's continuous keenness to provide all means of care for people with disabilities, through concerted efforts with all concerned parties in this regard, in a way that contributes to achieving advanced levels in the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as promoting the principle of equal opportunities among the various groups of society. During the ceremony, a photo report on the development of the Center for Special Education since its establishment was presented, in addition to poetic and popular events, and honoring a number of prominent personalities in supporting and empowering people with disabilities.
