Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): His Excellency Sayyid Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, affirmed that the late Munira bin Hindi, a former member of the Shura Council, may God have mercy on her soul, presented an honorable example of human giving, sacrifice, sincerity and dedication to the service of the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout her life, and embodied multiple images of responsible and inspiring Bahraini women, praising His Excellency for the clear and distinct fingerprints that the late Munira bin Hindi, in particular In supporting and aiding people with disabilities, motivating them to work with determination and persistence, overcoming challenges and turning them into achievements. This came on the sidelines of the participation of His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council, in the first Munira bin Hindi forum for people with disabilities (achievements and challenges), which was organized by the Bahrain Center for International Mobility, today, Saturday, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the center. His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council said that the late Munira bin Hindi is considered one of the sincere Bahraini personalities, and she received great appreciation and respect, stressing that the fragrant biography of the late bin Hindi shows many stages of struggle and continuous giving that she presented during her career, as well as during her membership in the Shura Council in the second legislative term (2006-2010). His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council pointed out that the convening of a forum for people with disabilities bearing the name of the late Munira bin Hindi confirms the great status enjoyed by the deceased, her fruitful efforts, and her keenness and interest in promoting the achievements of people with disabilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting the ideas and opinions that the forum witnessed. His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council pointed out that the Council will remain supportive of legislation and laws that contribute to consolidating the rights of people with disabilities, enhance their status, and confirm their role in supporting the progress and development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
